Singatac Arabia has entered into an agreement with the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) at Ras Al Khair Port to develop an offshore structures and platforms manufacturing centre, with a targeted investment of up to SAR 139 million.
This development is intended to strengthen in-Kingdom fabrication capabilities for offshore energy infrastructure, support the production of critical components for offshore wind energy as a major pillar of the facility’s long-term strategy, and advance the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 through industrial diversification, technology transfer, and workforce development. It will also support IKTVA by expanding local content, building resilient domestic supply chains, and creating high-value manufacturing capacity.
In parallel, the facility is designed to serve as an export-oriented hub, enabling Saudi-manufactured offshore structures and energy components to be supplied to regional and international markets across the GCC, Africa, Europe and beyond, reinforcing Ras Al Khair’s role as a globally connected industrial gateway.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Eng. Suliman bin Khalid Al-Mazroua, President of the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani), for representing Mawani in the signing of the agreement, and Mr. Abdullah AlMunif for his strong support & assistance.
We also thank Mr. S. Premjith, Ambassador of Singapore to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Wu Hong Yi, Regional Director (Middle East) and Mr. Calvin Chua, Deputy Director (Middle East & Africa) of Enterprise Singapore for their support and for representing the Singapore Government’s interests under the Saudi–Singapore Strategic Partnership Council framework.
We look forward to delivering a facility that upholds the highest standards of quality, HSE, and operational excellence, while contributing meaningfully to local content development and workforce capability.
