Ship repair in Singapore is a well established industry. Located strategically on the East - West sea route, Singapore has historically been the preferred port of call for ship repairs for many years. Singapore boasts a number of world class shipyards which is complemented by an excellent infrastructure and back up ancillary services.

Singatac Engineering was set up in 1997 by experienced professionals from one such leading shipyard in Singapore. From modest beginnings, the company's workforce has increased manifold times. Its client base is wide spread and spans many sectors of our activities namely Afloat Repairs, Oil & Gas / Offshore Engineering & Conversions, Contract Manufacturing, Workshop Fabrication of Out fittings, Dredging Equipment Reconditioning & Repairs, and Repairs in Shipyards.

To leverage on our client network and as a further diversification, a separate business within the same group was set up in 2006. This division of Singatac International was set up as a Ship-broking firm. Principally Singatac International took up representation of shipyards from China and other countries with a view to act as Brokers for ship repairs, conversions as well as New Buildings. Already this division is forging ahead with good business successes and is looking forward to more opportunities in this direction.

Singatac is, and continues to behave as a young company, intent on growth. It has already established itself as an important player in its fields and is set to grow further in the directions already taken. However, Singatac is not about to rest on its laurels. It has plans for further additions to its various services and activities such as taking up Product Agencies and Distributorships of items allied to its field. The Engineering Sector has definite geographical expansion plans, having already established its credentials with the various industries it services.
